Saturday 6/7/08 Solar panels...

I found solar panels for sale at the store the other day. They have two wires coming out of them with ends similar to jumper cable ends. These ends can be attached to something. I read the package and it didn't say what to attach them to. Do we need to buy something else to get the electricity to the appliance that it will power? I looked on the web, and can find companies that sell solar panels and web pages that explain what solar panels are, but not how to use them. I am still looking.
